So, just wondering if someone can walk me through remapping one key (without changing anything else) on a Soarer's, like I'm 5? I did find one YouTube video with a person in a vaguely similar situation, but the video is 20 minutes long, he spends the first half talking about the difference between PS2 and Terminal Model Ms (!), and then it turns out his OS is Linux (I'm Windows 11). I went back on the "other keyboarding forum" for more help and was told to, read the documentation again. I've gotten no further than reading through a bunch of documentation (none of it makes any sense to me) and the Listen app. So I got into the Soarer's documentation to start my adventure of remapping this key, and. A really helpful member gave me this code to use: So I got on "another keyboarding forum" and asked and the obvious answer is, program the Soarer's to send the signal to the key I want (my pick would be Left Windows/Super). I downloaded something called HID_Listen and sure enough, the key is sending out a signal. Totally happy, except I have one key (SYSREQ) that does not work. So I bought a new Soarer's converter and now the Model F AT works on my new computer. Did not work (probably more voltage than the converter can handle). So at first I tried connecting the Model F AT to my new desktop PC using a passive adapter (DIN5 to PS2) with a cheap active converter to USB. (I do have experience with Model M keyboards, for what it's worth.) I'm not a stranger to most things IT-related, but I'd never used a Model F in any way, shape or form, so I figured this would be a fun little excursion into vintage computing. So a few weeks ago I decided to buy a Model F AT keyboard. If you are thinking about making gifts during your lifetime, be sure to discuss this with your attorney. Discuss Lifetime Gifts With Your Attorney Whether a trust is right for your individual estate planning needs should be discussed with your estate planning attorney. Keep in mind that trusts, especially revocable living trusts, are not one-size-fits-all. It is also important to consider the timing of that charitable gift - whether it should be made while you are alive or if it would be better to make the gift after you pass away. Your attorney can discuss with you the different vehicles available for making charitable gifts, be they outright gifts, gifts in trust, or gifts made through a private foundation. It can help you make a gift to a beneficiary, or to ensure that funds are available to your estate to pay for your final expenses. Life insurance can be a very helpful tool in estate planning. Some of these laws, which are often cited in the HCI or interaction design community, are as follows. More specifically, they tried to explain human perception of groups of objects and how we perceive parts of objects and form whole objects on the basis of these. Their aim was to investigate the global and holistic processes involved in perceiving structure in the environment (e.g. In the 30s and 40s Gestalt psychology was applied to visual perception, most notably by Max Wertheimer, Wolfgang Köhler, and Kurt Koffka who founded the so-called gestalt approaches to form perception. Thus, Gestalt psychology dissociates itself from the more 'elementistic'/reductionistic/decompositional approaches to psychology like structuralism (with its tendency to analyse mental processes into elementary sensations) and it accentuates concepts like emergent properties, holism, and context. Gestalt psychology attempts to understand psychological phenomena by viewing them as organised and structured wholes rather than the sum of their constituent parts. Hoppers cannot interact with the sides of a composter.Ī composter can be used as fuel in a furnace to smelt 1.5 items.Ĭomposters can be placed under note blocks to produce "bass" sounds. See Hopper § Redstone component for more details. A hopper or dropper facing downward directly above a composter pushes items into it. A hopper directly below a composter pulls bone meal from it. Falling blocks naturally spawn where gravity-affected blocks lose their base of support. However, if there is a block between the composter and comparator, the comparator does not immediately update.Ĭomposters can interact with hoppers. A falling block is the entity form of a block that appears when a gravity-affected block loses its support. 7 is for completely full but the bone meal is not ready to collect, and 8 for completely full and the bone meal is ready to collect. With a composter behind it (either directly, or separated by an unpowered solid block), a comparator outputs a signal strength between 0 and 8, proportional to how full the composter is: 0 for empty, 1 for 1⁄ 7 full, 2 for 2⁄ 7 full, and so on to 6. If a village has a composter that has not been claimed by a villager, any resident villager who has not already chosen a job site block has a chance to change their profession to farmer.Ī composter can act as a power source for a redstone comparator. The exception is cookies, because each recipe produces 8 cookies, and together those give more than 3 times the compost. Smaller pieces (individual pieces of wheat, melon slices, etc.) produce more compost than the blocks or other items that can be made from them. The following table shows the items that can be used in a composter, the percent chance for an item to add a level of compost, and the average number of items needed to fill a composter. When the composter reaches the 7th layer of compost, the compost changes appearance indicating that bone meal can be collected by using the composter a final time. Each layer of compost has a podzol-like appearance. The higher the percentage of an item, the more likely it is for it to add another layer of compost. The table below lists supported items, which have different levels of compost-ability. When successfully adding an item, a green particle ( ) appears. The composter can be filled with compost, which is done by adding compostable items to it. When the composter’s fullness increases, any entities inside are pushed up accordingly. Composting When the composter is completely empty, this floor is slightly above the block below, and when it is completely full, there is a slight dip on top. The composter has a "floor", whose height depends on the fullness. As such, entities can enter and exit a composter through the top, but not the sides or bottom. When an adjacent comparator is facing away from the composter, a comparator signal strength of up to 8 is emitted depending on the fullness of the block.Ĭomposters appear to have an empty interior. To do so, the player must use any of a selection of items on the composter. Composters can be used to recycle food and plant items (excluding bamboo, poisonous potatoes, dead bushes, meat, and fish) into bone meal. It is less error-prone (less code and fewer bugs) than traditional retained-mode interfaces, and lends itself to creating dynamic user interfaces. The IMGUI paradigm through its API tries to minimize superfluous state duplication, state synchronization, and state retention from the user's point of view. You can use it to expose the internals of a subsystem in your engine, to create a logger, an inspection tool, a profiler, a debugger, an entire game-making editor/framework, etc. You can use it along with your own reflection data to browse your dataset live. You can use it to trace a running algorithm by just emitting text commands. On the extreme side of short-livedness: using the Edit&Continue (hot code reload) feature of modern compilers you can add a few widgets to tweak variables while your application is running, and remove the code a minute later! Fire Blast costs too much energy, and Flamethrower is a direct downgrade of Blast Burn. Dragon Claw is recommended for its cheaper energy cost and Dragon-type coverage. The update to Overheat following the Dec 2019 rebalance makes it a decent choice if Blast Burn is unavailable, but a significant self debuff of -2 ATK makes it more risky and less reliable. Even when resisted, Blast Burn would still have a greater DPE value than neutral Dragon Claw, but not when it would be doubly resisted. An incredible 2.2 DPE (Damage Per Energy) rating allows Charizard to output huge amounts of damage without paying high energy costs. Air Slash is just inferior to Wing Attackīlast Burn is a limited move obtained through Community Day events, but it's mandatory for optimal usage of Charizard. Dragon Breath is a powerful move, but lacks STAB, and generally falls behind against neutral opponents. Fire Spin is a decent move, but is generally outclassed by Wing Attack because other Fire-type Pokemon such as Talonflame and Ninetales are better at dealing consistent Fire damage. Wing Attack is the most preferable Fast Attack on Charizard due to its superior energy generation, while maintaining decent DPT. Wing Attack* or Dragon Breath* + Blast Burn* and Dragon Claw Fire Blast and Overheat are poor due to their late damage windows and charge time.Dragon Breath and Dragon Claw can work as a pseudo-dragon attacker, but are best reserved for Mega Charizard X.Īttackers may be inclined to throw Water-types at Charizard, in which case Air Slash edges out Fire Spin.Įmber and Wing Attack are worse versions of Fire Spin and Air Slash, respectively.ĭragon Claw is the preferred charge move due its early damage window, wide neutral coverage, and 3 bars.įlamethrower is a decent alternative, but Blast Burn is decisively better.Overheat is Charizard's best non-exclusive charged move and beats Fire Blast soundly.įlamethrower has less cycle DPS than Overheat and is just a worse Blast Burn, but has advantages due to multiple charge bars. Wing Attack is preferable to Air Slash and equal to Fire Spin if both have the same effectiveness.īlast Burn makes Charizard one of the strongest Fire-type attackers. Fire Spin is Charizard’s best fast move and strictly superior to Ember. |
